Victorinox invites the world to reinterpret the Swiss Army Knife
Victorinox is launching a unique design project called «Re-Imagine.» For the first time, the Swiss company is inviting creative people from around the world to reimagine the legendary Swiss Army Knife. The goal is to build a network of innovators and incorporate outside perspectives into product development.

Network of innovators as a goal
Re-Imagine goes far beyond simply delivering concepts. Rather, it is about building a global network of innovators who share a passion for craftsmanship. We are looking for courageous visionaries who completely reinterpret the Swiss Army Knife, combine functionality with originality and whose ideas are then implemented by Victorinox.

Community platform as a basis
To realize this project, the Victorinox community platform will host Re-Imagine. Originally launched as a special space for collectors and brand fans, it has long since become a meeting place for exchange and inspiration.
Over 140 years of craftsmanship
The origins of Victorinox date back to 1884, when Karl Elsener founded a knife forge in a village in central Switzerland. In 1891, he delivered his first soldier's knife to the Swiss Army. This was followed six years later by the development of the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife, which is known today as the original Swiss Army Knife. It was the foundation stone for what is now a successful global company.
Today, Victorinox is a fourth-generation family business operating in over 120 countries. In addition to the iconic pocket knives, the portfolio includes high-quality household and professional knives, watches and luggage. The products embody the brand and ensure that consumers are well prepared for the challenges of everyday life with well thought-out and masterfully crafted solutions. The entrepreneurial spirit of the founder and the commitment to strong, value-based company management live on to this day.
