Wecatch develops special edition "Young talent" for FH Switzerland
The Zurich-based creative agency Wecatch developed the special edition «Nachwuchs» for FH Switzerland. The magazine showcases how Swiss companies such as Auto AG Truck, CSS Insurance, Health Promotion Switzerland, Lidl Switzerland, and Valiant Bank not only train young professionals but also actively involve them in shaping the future.

Young talents today no longer just want to learn, they want to help shape things. This is exactly where the new special edition of FH Switzerland "Young talents" comes in: it impressively shows how Swiss companies not only train young talents, but also take them seriously, support them and allow them to grow. The visual concept was developed by the Zurich-based creative agency Wecatch.
Commitment in challenging times
"We are confronted with questions about our young talent on a daily basis - in schools, in companies and in society," writes Regina Durrer-Knobel, President of the Advisory Board of FH Switzerland and National Councillor, in the editorial. Schools prepare young people for future challenges; companies, on the other hand, are called upon to actively promote young talent. At the same time, the requirements are increasing and there is pressure to save money. "Special efforts are needed to attract young people to an apprenticeship," Durrer-Knobel continues.

Practical examples from the Swiss economy
This issue presents practical examples from Auto AG Truck, CSS Insurance, Health Promotion Switzerland, Lidl Switzerland and Valiant Bank. What these companies have in common is that young people are not simply lectured to, but encouraged to play an active role in shaping the future. "All the more reason for us to appreciate initiatives that present a wide variety of professions and show that both young people and adults today can count on committed companies and organizations," emphasizes Durrer-Knobel.
Visual concept with symbolic power
The design of the special edition is based on clear, modern typography and independent illustrative elements that symbolize movement, development and learning processes. Shapes, lines and symbols pick up on the path of the next generation - from the start to independent development. A color scheme with dynamic accents provides orientation and highlights the content without overpowering it. The result is a visual appearance that not only explains the promotion of young talent, but also makes it visible as a living process.
