Intercantonal Association for Occupational Safety: Ogilvy creates safety test dummy "Dave"
A "social-first" series by Ogilvy for the Intercantonal Association for Occupational Safety (IVA) aims to raise awareness of workplace safety among young employees with quirky personalities and an '80s vibe.

To ensure that the Intercantonal Association for Employee Protection (IVA) and its "Be Smart Work Safe" brand are remembered by its young target group in particular, an iconic mascot with its own series was created in the form of the safety test dummy "Dave", placed and played out on TikTok in a target group-specific manner.
The settings in each episode are as varied as the industries that the IVA supports. Dave's adventures range from an internship as a painter, to security at a festival, to a bakery and a scrap yard. The overriding message: Don't do it like Dave, do it better. Realized with a trendy 80s look reminiscent of A-Team and the like.
The series was launched on TikTok in July and was specially tailored to the brand's presence at selected Swiss festivals.
