Farner and Greenpeace provide vital ground for marine conservation
Farner’s latest campaign for Greenpeace Switzerland shows why marine conservation affects each and every one of us directly—about 23,000 times a day.
The ocean is a fascinating ecosystem - and existentially important: Among other things, the oceans produce half of the air we breathe. Anyone who breathes - and we all do so around 23,000 times a day - must take an interest in the survival of the oceans. With this universal insight and an integrated campaign, Greenpeace Switzerland is raising awareness for marine conservation among a new target group.
After around 20 years of commitment, Greenpeace succeeded in getting the UN to adopt an ocean treaty in March 2023. The treaty protects parts of the oceans from overfishing and pollution. Greenpeace Switzerland's campaign communicates this historic opportunity with a message that should leave no one cold.
"If you breathe, you need the sea" - the simple yet impressive message is communicated on all relevant channels. For the TVC and radio spots, Farner also uses the acoustic potential of the concept and raffles off vacations in the "Swiss sea air" as an activating highlight.
The bilingual campaign can be seen and heard from the end of October 2023 as DOOH, on TV, as a weekly series on Radio1 and on various online channels.
