Galledia supports the further development of "bob-e
In 2022, BOB Tech GmbH launched the «bob-e» app on the Swiss market—a mobile application designed to help homeowners manage their properties. The Galledia Group has acquired a stake in Bob Tech GmbH and is supporting the startup in marketing the app in the DACH region.
What exactly does bob-e? Many people long for their own home, and the joy is correspondingly great when they finally succeed in settling into their own four walls. However, many people have no idea what challenges they will face in connection with their long-awaited property. Do I need to have the roof inspected every year? When do I need to call for duct cleaning? When should I have the boiler descaled? Acting with foresight at the right time will secure the biggest investment of their lives for the long term - and vice versa.
With bob-e, BOB Tech GmbH has launched an app that offers support for the purchase and management of residential property that is as simple as it is successful - because all documents and contacts relating to residential property can be called up on the cell phone at any time. Is the warranty for the dishwasher still running? Who installed the power lines in the basement again? Do we actually have the electric bike covered by our homeowner's insurance? No more tedious searching through old folders, everything is available from the sofa.
But bob-e is much more than a filing system: It is a personal learning assistant. Depending on the time of year and the type of property, it reminds the owner of specific and individual tasks that need to be done and offers tips and tricks related to the respective residential property. The owner decides to do the task himself or to delegate it. This way, nothing is ever forgotten. Bob-e thinks of everything that is important, collects all the documents and is on hand with good advice if there are any questions. In short: Bob-e is the learning digital service booklet for home ownership.
In addition, bob-e focuses on security and privacy protection. The documents and scans stored in the vault are encrypted end-to-end and cannot be viewed by bob-e. The encryption method used by bob-e is AES with a key length of 256 bits.
With its portfolio of over 120 publishing properties, Galledia supports the app available in the App Store and on Google Play. In the fall, the market entry of bob-e in Germany and Austria as well as product extensions with AI functionality are planned.
