Vitodata is a provider of software solutions in the field of medical informatics.Such similar questions were posed to Vitodata, a leading provider of software solutions in the field of medical informatics. For once, the company based in Oberohringen in the canton of Zurich did not have an IT problem to solve, but a linguistic one. It was looking for an experienced translation partner to translate the sophisticated and technical vocabulary of its software solutions into Italian and French in order to further its growth in these areas. First and foremost, this required translators who were familiar with the specific medical vocabulary of each language and, at the same time, able to input their translations into the corresponding Vitodata application on site. The Translation-Probst AG was engaged to work out binding guidelines for the project with Vitodata and to assign the appropriate specialist translators from the medical field to the project. These were able to translate their texts exclusively using the special tools directly in the User Interface of the customer. Thanks to the experience gained from numerous digital translation projects, the terms were translated on time despite the technical and linguistic hurdles, and the project was successfully completed.Peter Ott, authorized signatory at Vitodata, comments: "The flexibility on the part of TRANSLATION-PROBST AG was confirmed throughout the entire project. They offered the personal support that contributed significantly to the success. The chosen strategy worked, and Vitodata now has the necessary translations of its software and can thus drive its growth throughout Switzerland."
