FRONT PANEL For the first time this year, MK was looking for the most popular thought leaders in the field of marketing & communication. The jury, headed by Cary Steinmann, selected nine finalists from over 80 suggestions. In the end, over 1,100 voters decided who could celebrate as the winner.
The winners: Samy Liechti (Blacksocks), Peter Metzinger (business campaigning) and Manuel P. Nappo (HWZ).In mid-February, Marketing & Kommunikation launched a search for thought leaders under the motto "Wanted: MK thought leaders. In the three categories "Client/Customer Side," "Service Provider/Media/Implementer/Creation," and "Research/Teaching/Associations," MK readers were able to nominate candidates who had distinguished themselves through their forward-looking work. In the end, just under 80 nominations were received.Jury determines finalistsIn a second step, the MK team, together with jury president Cary Steinmann from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), scrutinized the numerous nominations for the "MK Mastermind" award. Based on the six criteria "Thought", "Done", "Said", "Heard", "Lived" and "Overall", three finalists were nominated in each category, and the personal favorites were chosen in a public vote. The voting caused quite a stir: By the deadline on April 15, more than 1,100 votes had been cast. The nominees fought an exciting neck-and-neck race for the victory and diligently beat the advertising drum in their network. Now the winners have been announced. In the current issue, MK presents the three winners in a big interview.
