Wordplay strengthens twice - and meets in Lisbon
The Zurich-based agency Wortspiel is expanding its team of Google AdWords experts. Maren K. Ockels and David Brunnschweiler have joined the team.

Maren K. Ockels is a Senior AdWords Consultant at Wortspiel. Previously, after a stint at Immowelt, she spent three years as Head of Online Marketing for a startup incubator. There, Maren established and managed AdWords campaigns for startups such as HomeToGo, Dreamlines and Finanzcheck. With success: HomeToGo was named Germany's fastest-growing startup last year by "Gründerszene" magazine. The business administration graduate is also one of only ten "top contributors" to the official German-language AdWords community.

David Brunnschweiler moved from Swisscom to Wortspiel. The graduate business economist has many years of marketing experience and works at Wortspiel as an AdWords Consultant. Before joining Swisscom as "Marketing Manager Service Innovations", he worked in communications at SBB and as a consultant at the Biel-based advertising agency Erdmannpeisker.

"Maren and David complement our team ideally," says Stefan Vetter, founder and CEO of Wortspiel. "Not only are they very competent professionally, they also share our values as well as our vision. This is to provide the best support for scaling new products using search engine advertising."
Well on the way even without an office
The first meeting of the two new employees with the entire team took place during an agency retreat in Lisbon at the end of March. Since Wortspiel has worked independently of location since its founding, the twice-yearly retreats are valuable opportunities for getting to know each other better and sharing experiences. In one Blogpost newcomer David Brunnschweiler reports on his impressions of the retreat with numerous photos and videos.
