Stéphane Garelli is Professor Emeritus of Competitiveness at IMD and the University of Lausanne. He is the founder of the "World Competitiveness Center". In addition to his academic activities, Stéphane Garelli is also very familiar with the business world: among other things, he was Managing Director of the World Economic Forum and the annual event in Davos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sandoz FF Holding and has chaired the Board of Directors of Le Temps since 2002.
Stéphane Garelli in a press release: "After 15 years as Chairman of the Board of Directors and shortly before the 20th anniversary of Le Temps, I would like to hand over this important task to new hands. I am delighted that Marc Walder is taking over from me and I am convinced that he will ensure that Le Temps remains the reference medium in French-speaking Switzerland. I would like to thank all current and former employees for making Le Temps such a success and one of the few Swiss newspapers that is also well-known abroad."
