Radio Top is pleased to announce that both editorial management positions have been filled internally. Sandro Peter has been working in the editorial department of Radio Top for six years. For a good four years, the 35-year-old has been co-responsible for the planning and content of Radio Top's informational features on a weekly basis as chief of staff, and for the past five years he has coordinated Radio Top's court reporting.

Daniel Schmuki, 28, will also take over as head of the sports editorial department at the beginning of November 2018. He has worked for six years in the editorial department of
Radio Top, for the past year as chief of staff and for the past four years as deputy sports director.

The former head of sports and deputy editor-in-chief Dave Burkhard is leaving Radio Top after ten years for Radio 1.

Manuela Straub has been working in the editorial department of Radio Top for six years. For the past three years, she has been jointly responsible for the planning and content of the informational features on a weekly basis, and for the past six months she has been a member of the radio station's extended management team as Head of East. The soon-to-be 28-year-old will continue to hold the position of Head of East as Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

32-year-old Dave Burkhard will take over as head of the sports desk as early as mid-October. He has been working in the editorial department of Radio Top for three years, the last year and a half as chief of staff. In the last two years, he has already commented on various football, ice hockey and athletics events as a reporter.

The previous head of sports and deputy editor-in-chief Ralf Meile is leaving the private broadcaster for 20 Minuten Online at the end of October after a good ten years.
