Thomas Kundert becomes new CEO of Somedia - Andrea Masüger remains with the company
Effective July 1, 2018, Thomas Kundert will assume the role of CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board at Somedia. The current CEO, Andrea Masüger, is stepping down after eight years at the helm of Somedia.

Andrea Masüger will remain with Somedia beyond the summer of 2018 as a member of the Board of Directors and publicist. After more than 40 years with the media company as a journalist, editor-in-chief, head of journalism and most recently CEO, Masüger is handing over operational responsibility to younger hands.
Thomas Kundert, the current Deputy CEO and Managing Director Advertising and User Market, has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board. The 36-year-old from Glarus has been working for Somedia for twenty years and is a qualified marketing planner and federally certified sales manager. Today he heads the marketing company Somedia Promotion as well as the user market division and is therefore responsible for advertising sales and marketing for the newspaper, radio, TV and online channels.
Susanne Lebrument will also take over as Delegate of the Board of Directors of Somedia in mid-2018. Susanne Lebrument studied applied psychology at the University of Zurich, then trained as a journalist at the MAZ and is currently studying finance and controlling at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Silvio Lebrument will continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and as Managing Director Media. The Somedia management team is completed by CFO Tarcisi Hendry and Christian Berther, Managing Director Media Services. Hanspeter Lebrument remains Chairman of the Board of Directors and Publisher of Somedia.
