Stephan Timme is the new COO of SAP Switzerland
SAP Switzerland has appointed Stephan Timme as its new COO. In this role, the 40-year-old reports directly to Alexander Klaeger, COO & Head of Cloud Business for SAP’s Central and Eastern Europe (MEE) region. He will also serve on the executive board of the Swiss national organization.

Stephan Timme succeeds Stefan Inderbitzin, who will take on the role of Head of Services Sales for Switzerland, thus continuing to put his many years of experience at the service of SAP's Swiss customers.
Stephan Timme has headed the Commercial Sales Organization since 2015, initially for MEE and for the last two years for EMEA North. In 2012, he moved from a startup to SAP in Germany, where he developed new market segments in the sales team for large public sector customers. Before that, he spent nine years at IBM in various sales and management positions. Stephan Timme acquired the basic practical and theoretical knowledge in a dual study program at the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart, which he successfully completed with a degree in business informatics.
"Stephan Timme has an outstanding track record. The business units he led at SAP consistently achieved top rankings. He has shown many times that he understands how to accompany customers effectively and sustainably in achieving their business and digital goals," says Michael Locher-Tjoa, Managing Director of SAP Switzerland. "With his wealth of experience, his customer focus and his determined manner, he will make an important contribution to the further successful development of SAP in Switzerland."
In his new role, Stephan Timme pursues an open and performance-oriented leadership approach based on clear principles. Transparent communication, involving employees in decision-making and creating added value in every collaboration with customers, partners and colleagues. "The customer's view always comes before the internal view, and the focus is on people," emphasizes Stephan Timme.
As the father of three children, Stephan Timme enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. To keep himself in shape mentally and physically, he likes to do sports. After living in Barcelona for two years, Stephan Timme is moving to Lake Zurich for his new role.
