Stefan Wilberg becomes Head of User Market

Stefan Wilberg takes over as Head of User Market at Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland as of December 5. In this role, he will be responsible for all print and online sales marketing activities, the subscription business, and individual sales.

Stefan Wilberg (51) has extensive and international experience in general, sales and marketing management. From 1991 to 2010, he held various positions at Gruner + Jahr - including more than 10 years as head of marketing, advertising and publishing for various Gruner + Jahr publishing groups. From 1999 to 2001, he was publishing and marketing manager at "National Geographic Deutschland" in Hamburg. From 2002, as a member of the management board of Motor Presse Stuttgart, he was responsible for the "Consumer Electronics & Telecommunications" division. From 2008 to 2009, he was CEO of the MPS subsidiary Motor Presse Schweiz in Zurich.

Stefan Wilberg has been successfully self-employed since 2010, for example as interim sales manager at the Handelsblatt publishing group. In addition, Stefan Wilberg has made a name for himself as a lecturer and trade magazine author. As of December 5, he will assume user market responsibility for the entire portfolio of Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland in French- and German-speaking Switzerland. In this position, Stefan Wilberg reports directly to Ralph Büchi, Delegate of the Board of Directors.
