Silvia Fleck becomes Head of Documentary at Mediafisch
Silvia Fleck is the new Head of Documentary and will be responsible for documentaries and reports at the Zurich-based TV producer Mediafisch.
Mediafisch produces documentaries and reports for TV stations in Switzerland. With Silvia Fleck as the new division manager, the activity is now to be expanded and internationalized, according to a statement on Tuesday.
In her role as Head of Documentary, Fleck will be responsible for the content development and implementation of all Mediafisch documentaries and reports, as well as national and international co-productions. She will take on the role on a 50-percent basis starting in mid-May 2023.
Silvia Fleck has many years of experience as a journalist and producer. Among other things, she headed the editorial department of "NZZ Format" from 2016 to 2020. Before that, she worked for many years at ORF in various functions. Since 2020, she has also been running her own company Loopus, with which she realizes films, reports and TV features and will continue to do so alongside her work as Head of Documentary at Mediafisch.
Fleck has already produced the four-part doc series "Spectacular Mountain Railways of Switzerland" for Mediafisch in 2022 for 3sat, and she is currently leading the production of the second season.
