Silja Hänggi becomes Head of Video of the newly founded Video Unit of AZ Medien
Silja Hänggi (31) will take over the newly created position of Head of Video in the Video Unit of AZ Medien | Tv & Radio as of October 1. The current head of the online TV editorial team will be responsible for the new four-person team from October.
Silja Hänggi has been working for AZ Medien | Tv & Radio for two and a half years and was instrumental in establishing and expanding the online and mobile presence of AZ Medien's TV stations. Prior to that, Silja Hänggi worked as a journalist at Radio 24 and the Zürichsee-Zeitung, among others. She studied communications at the ZHAW in Winterthur, specializing in journalism.
"Silja Hänggi has built up our online editorial team and is the ideal person to fill the position of Head of Video. She has the necessary journalistic experience and also knows how to develop new, strong online formats," says Oliver Steffen, Head of Operations AZ Medien TV, explaining the choice.
Also on board the Video Unit as a video journalist is Marco Schättin (28). He was a producer and presenter at Radio Zürisee and before that at Radio Central. Nicole Zintzsche (24) will join the team in a few days. She is currently a producer and video journalist at Tele Top. A VJ position in the Video Unit is currently vacant.
