Grieder most recently headed McKinsey Switzerland as Managing Partner Digital. His task at Salt will be to achieve growth in all areas. With more than ten years of experience as a successful consultant for international telecommunications companies and as the person responsible for McKinsey's digital business in Switzerland, he is ideally qualified for this role. After graduating as an electrical engineer from ETH Zurich with a subsequent doctorate (Dr. sc. ETH Zurich), Pascal Grieder has held various positions at McKinsey since 2005 with assignments in Switzerland and abroad.

Commenting on the appointment, Xavier Niel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salt, said: "Pascal Grieder is an entrepreneurial leader with excellent market knowledge in the telecommunications industry. He has proven that he can take companies to the next level with digital innovation. This is exactly what we expect from him as CEO. Our goal is to accelerate Salt's growth."

The Board of Directors would like to thank Andreas Schönenberger for his valuable contribution to the further development of the company. Under his leadership, Salt successfully completed its IT transformation and transition to a cost-efficient telecommunications service provider in collaboration with NJJ. In March 2018, the company launched Salt Fiber, a fixed-network offering in partnership with Apple that is unique in the market in terms of speed, service and price.
