Roman Sigrist appointed Head of Operations and Projects Newsroom of the Blick Group
Effective February 1, 2018, Roman Sigrist will become Head of Operations and Projects for the Blick Group’s Newsroom. Sigrist has been with Ringier since 2014 and will take over the responsibilities of Michael Ludewig, Managing Editor of the Blick Group, who is leaving the company at his own request to start his own business.

Roman Sigrist joined the company after studying business administration at the University of Zurich, which he completed in 2014 with a Master of Arts, and worked as Head of Projects CEO Office at Marc Walder until 2016. The 30-year-old then joined the team of Alexander Theobald, COO Ringier Switzerland and Managing Director of the Blick Group, as Project Manager Business Development. In this role, Sigrist's responsibilities included project management for various Blick projects. In his new role as Head of Operations and Newsroom Projects, Roman Sigrist will report to Christian Dorer, Editor-in-Chief of the Blick Group, from February 1, 2018.
Roman Sigrist is taking over from Michael Ludewig, Managing Editor and Member of the Editorial Board of the Blick Group, who has decided to leave the Blick Group at the end of February 2018. The 60-year-old would like to work as an independent consultant in future. Until his departure, Michael Ludewig will complete existing projects, continue to work on improving the cost structure in the newsroom and, in particular, optimize the supply of external services.
