Ringier Advertising: Fabian Zürcher leaves marketing unit

After 19 years with Ringier, Ringier Media Switzerland, and Ringier Advertising, Fabian Zürcher, Director of Brand Studio and a member of the Executive Board at Ringier Advertising, has decided to leave the company effective June 27 to pursue new professional challenges.

Fabian Zürcher has built up and managed the Brand Studio since 2016, initially as part of the Blick Group and later as an independent unit of Ringier Advertising. Under his leadership, the Brand Studio specialized in innovative advertising formats such as native advertising and other storytelling formats and successfully created award-winning content and image campaigns for well-known clients in the Swiss economy.

In his long career at Ringier, Fabian Zürcher has held various positions, including Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Blick.ch and Blick am Abend as well as Editor-in-Chief of Blick ad interim. He has been a member of the Executive Board of Ringier Advertising since 2020.

Thomas Passen, Managing Director Ringier Advertising and Member of the Executive Board Ringier Media Switzerland: "We are very grateful to Fabian for his valuable and long-standing contribution to Ringier Advertising. His commitment and expertise have contributed significantly to our success. Thanks to his creativity, his tireless commitment and his in-depth expertise, Ringier Advertising has been able to develop far beyond a traditional marketing unit. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors."

Fabian Zürcher: "I had the privilege of setting up a new business unit for Ringier with the Brand Studio and developing it into a full-service agency together with a great team. Together with my colleagues, I was able to help shape the course of the Blick Group and Ringier Advertising and move Switzerland with campaigns and stories. Thank you very much for the wonderful years and the many opportunities. But now it's time for new challenges. I'm looking forward to it."

To ensure continuity in the Brand Studio, Thomas Passen is temporarily taking over the management. The search for a successor is already underway.
