Radio Basilisk elects Jascha Schneider-Marfels to the Board of Directors

Radio Basilisk strengthens its Board of Directors with the election of Basel lawyer Jascha Schneider-Marfels. With Schneider-Marfels' experience in the media sector as a journalist and also as a legal advisor, owner Matthias Hagemann wants to ensure the strategic development of Radio Basilisk in the long term.

"The radio industry is in a state of upheaval. To survive this as a company that does not belong to a large media house is challenging," Basilisk owner Matthias Hagemann is quoted as saying in a statement. "I am pleased that with Jascha Schneider-Marfels we have found a Basel media professional to complement our board."

For Schneider-Marfels himself, it's a return to the company where his media career began: "Radio Basilisk was my passion back then. As host of the morning show, I learned the craft from scratch. That's an advantage that comes in handy again and again today when I'm advising media companies. I'm delighted to be able to support the Basilisk team in the strategic area in the future."

48-year-old Jascha Schneider-Marfels is a partner in the law firm Balex and works primarily as a corporate and family lawyer. His specialty is media law.
