Philipp Scheidegger leaves Admeira and becomes CDO of the Blick Group
Philipp Scheidegger will join Ringier AG as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of the Blick Group no later than July 1, 2017. Juan Baron, who has held this position since May 2015, will focus entirely on strategic and group-wide issues going forward.

Philipp Scheidegger completed an Executive MBA in Marketing at the HWZ/Darden School of Business in 2009 and has been working in the digital media sector for 18 years. The 39-year-old is currently Managing Director Digital at Admeira and a member of the Extended Executive Board, where he has made a significant contribution to building up and developing Admeira's digital business, according to the press release. Previously, Scheidegger was Head of Advertising and ad interim Head of Portal at Swisscom, where he was responsible for the launch of the Bluewin app and the first interactive TV campaigns, among other things. Prior to that, he held leading positions at PubliGroupe and Ringier.
Philipp Scheidegger will take up his role as Chief Digital Officer at the Blick Group on July 1, 2017 at the latest and will report to Alexander Theobald, Managing Director of the Blick Group and COO Ringier. Juan Baron, who has held this position since May 2015, will drive forward strategic digital topics at Group level once Philipp Scheidegger takes up his new role, supporting Xiaoqun Clever and Alexander Theobald.
