Paloma Meier-Martino is the new Aargau government spokeswoman
The cantonal government of Aargau has appointed 45-year-old Paloma Meier-Martino as the new head of the government council's communications service and government spokesperson. The communications expert will take up her position at the beginning of 2025.
Paloma Meier-Martino worked as media manager at Lidl Switzerland and head of corporate communications at Denner. Since 2017, she has worked in communications at the Canton of Lucerne's Department of Construction, Environment and Economic Affairs.
She succeeds Peter Buri, who is retiring at the end of the year after 14 years of service, as the Aargau State Chancellery announced on Wednesday. (SDA)
