New editor-in-chief appointed for Le Temps and Heidi.news
Madeleine von Holzen, former business journalist and current Head of Communications at Geneva Airport, is to become the new Editor-in-Chief of the daily newspaper Le Temps and the news portal Heidi.news. Tibère Adler becomes the new managing director of the two companies.

Von Holzen will assume her new role as of Jan. 1, 2021, the Aventinus Foundation announced Tuesday. A week ago, it had become known that the foundation, based in Carouge Le Temps from the media company Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz.
Von Holzen worked for more than ten years as a business journalist for the Journal de Genève and for the French-speaking Swiss radio and television station RTS. She then founded a communications company. Among other things, she was responsible for communications at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). Since 2018, she has been head of communications and a member of the management team at Geneva Airport.
Tibère Adler, a lawyer and entrepreneur, will become the managing director of Le Temps and Heidi.news. Adler was CEO of the French-speaking Swiss media company Edipresse until 2011. He was also director of the liberal think tank Avenir Suisse in French-speaking Switzerland and co-founder of the digital news portal Heidi.news in French-speaking Switzerland. The Aventinus Foundation also wants to acquire a majority stake in Heidi.news in the medium term and bring the two media titles under one roof. (SDA)
