Natalie Rickli leaves Goldbach and wants to start her own business
After twelve years in various positions at Goldbach Group, Natalie Rickli has decided to leave the company at the end of 2017.
Natalie Rickli started working for the former company Adlink Internet Media on September 1, 2005 and managed various websites as Product Manager and subsequently headed the marketing team. Since August 1, 2009, she has been in charge of strategic projects and products as Partner Relation Manager. In the coming year, Natalie Rickli plans to become self-employed in the field of communications.
Rickli told the news agency SDA that she could not yet say anything about her future plans. She is still employed by Goldbach Media until the end of the year. "In the course of the coming year, the ideas will become more concrete," she said. She is currently in talks, but she is not giving any information about them.
Rickli was elected to the National Council in 2007. There, the SVP politician is, among other things, a member of the parliamentary group "Media and Commercial Communication (GMK)" and the Commission for Transport and Telecommunications.
Since 2014, she has chaired the non-partisan association "Aktion Medienfreiheit" (Action for Media Freedom) and, among other things, campaigns for better framework conditions for private media companies and against state funding for the media. Rickli has repeatedly come under attack for criticizing SRG and its funding, while at the same time working for a private media marketer herself.
"We would like to thank Natalie Rickli for her many years of commitment to our company. We are proud that she has been part of the Goldbach family. We wish her every success for the future," Goldbach CEO Michi Frank was quoted as saying in a statement.
And Natalie Rickli returns the flowers: "I am grateful for having been able to play a part in Goldbach's success and to work with great employees. After twelve years, it's a good time for me to take a new professional direction." (pd/SDA/hae)
