McDonald's Switzerland appoints head of communications to head of human resources
McDonald's Switzerland is seeing a change in its top management. Deborah Murith, who has served as Head of Communications since 2017, will take over the position of Chief People Officer as of July 1.
She is thus responsible for the areas of employer branding, employee experience as well as team engagement and talent development for a total of 8,500 employees in Switzerland. Murith takes over her new role from Matthias Kutzer, who will be the new head of HR at McDonald's Germany, the fast-food chain announced Wednesday.
The head of corporate communications will go to Jae Ah Kim, who has been part of the communications team since 2019. With the promotion of Murith and Kim, the management of McDonald's Switzerland will soon include the same number of women as men, according to the statement. This means that the goal of gender diversity has already been achieved before 2025. (SDA)
