MAZ: Claudia Schlup new director of studies for diploma course in journalism

Claudia Schlup is moving from SRF to the MAZ – The Swiss School of Journalism, where she will take over as director of the journalism degree program. She succeeds Dominique Strebel, who is moving to *Der Beobachter*.

Claudia Schlup, deputy head of SRF Online Programs, will be the new director of studies for the journalism diploma program at MAZ - The Swiss School of Journalism. The 45-year-old will take up the post in August 2021. She replaces Dominique Strebel, who joined in the spring as the new Editor-in-Chief. Observer changes.

With her broad journalistic background in the print sector, her know-how of electronic media and her training experience, she fulfills the requirement in the most ideal way," says a delighted MAZ Director Martina Fehr.

The 45-year-old Schlup started her career in local journalism and in the entertainment department at publishing houses such as the former Espace Media Groupe, Tamedia and Ringier. She has been working for SRF since 2009, most recently as Deputy Head of SRF Online Programs.
