Maximilian Baumann to leave Radio 24 at the end of October 2019
After five years, 27-year-old Zurich native Maximilian Baumann has decided to leave Radio 24. He will join his sister Lina Baumann's production company as a partner from November 2019. Maximilian Baumann will remain with CH Media as host of "Ninja Warrior Switzerland" on TV24.

Maximilian Baumann says goodbye to the Zurich-based private broadcaster: "In the last five years, I've been able to experience a lot and have learned a lot of new things. Personally as well as work-wise, I was able to develop in the best environment and experience funny and unforgettable moments again and again." Maximilian Baumann first appeared on Radio 24 in 2014, and for two years he challenged Radio 24 and Radio Argovia listeners with tricky questions on Saturday afternoons as part of the "Big Prize" quiz show. In 2016, the Zurich native then took over as host of the "Abig Show" and accompanied listeners into the end of the day with a lot of cordiality, entertainment and information.
The station also regrets the departure of Maximilian Baumann: "In his three years as presenter, Maximilian has further developed and shaped Radio 24's Abig show. We thank him for his heart and soul and his commitment to Radio 24 and the entire station family," says Florian Wanner, Managing Director of CH Media Radios.
Who will take Maximilian Baumann's place is still open. Radio 24 will provide information in due course about what kind of voice will be heard on Radio 24 in the future, Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m.
Nevertheless, Maximilian Baumann will remain with CH Media as a presenter on TV24. He will continue to host "Ninja Warrior Switzerland" as before.
