Martin Arnold is the new head of creation at Rod Kommunikation
Martin Arnold, 37, has been named Creative Director and will now head up the creative department at Rod in Zurich. He succeeds Annette Häcki, who has left the agency.

Over the past twelve years, the Valais native has managed more than 100 different brands. These include Switzerland Tourism, Google, Youtube, Samsung, Amnesty International, Swiss Life, Emmentaler, Hyposwiss, Denner and siroop. His campaigns have won numerous national and international awards and have been the subject of international media coverage. For example, the "New York Times" reported on the viral campaign "Ebay Attack" for Amnesty International and the Bild-Zeitung even declared the campaign for the publisher Kein & Aber the "hottest ad of the year".
Martin Arnold got his start in advertising at Wirz with an application idea (a fake wallet from the ECD), which also immediately earned him his first ADC cube. His career then took him from SFLB via Walker and Leo Burnett to the digital agency AKQA in New York.
Martin Arnold: "Rod pursues the same goal that I always set myself. Namely, to make campaign messages a topic of discussion among the target group across paid advertising media. Rod is a modern communications agency that can react quickly due to its independence. I am very much looking forward to working with them."
Pablo Koerfer: "Our maxim is to launch campaigns that cause a stir. That's exactly what Martin Arnold achieves with great consistency and professional excellence. His wealth of experience and his distinctive digital skills will further sharpen the contours of our agency. Martin is thus the perfect addition to Rod."
The departure of Annette Häcki, the previous Head of Creation, was announced in June (Werbewoche.ch reported).
