Manuel Ackermann becomes new head of communications for the CVP Switzerland
The Executive Committee of the CVP Switzerland has appointed Manuel Ackermann as its new head of communications. He will take up his post on November 1.

With Manuel Ackermann, the presidium of CVP Switzerland is relying on a proven communications expert. He has been working at Swiss Post since 2009. As an issue manager at Swiss Post, he shaped the communication of major projects such as the further development of the postal network. Before that, he worked as a political assistant to a member of parliament and as a copywriter and concept developer at the Berne-based PR agency Klarkom.
42-year-old Manuel Ackermann is married, the father of two sons and he lives in Länggasse in Bern. He studied political science at the University of Geneva and graduated as a business economist from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
Manuel Ackermann succeeds Thomas Jauch, who will take up a new professional challenge in September. Until Manuel Ackermann starts work, Secretary General Béatrice Wertli will take over as Head of Communications.
