Linda Gwerder and David Burkhard join Radio 1

From November 2018, presenter Linda Gwerder will take over Radio 1's primetime program from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., among other things. David Burkhard becomes deputy editor-in-chief.

Linda Gwerder has made a name for herself as a television presenter on VIVA Switzerland, 3Plus and Sat1/Pro7 Switzerland and has been a popular TV presenter for the last ten years.

David Burkhard will also be joining Radio 1 in November as deputy editor-in-chief at the age of 39. "With David Burkhard, we have found an ideal solution. As an innovative and experienced radio man, he will provide important input for the ongoing development of the Radio 1 program," says Editor-in-Chief Jan Vontobel with conviction. David Burkhard is moving from Radio Top to Radio 1, where he worked for ten years, most recently as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Head of Sport.

He replaces Lukas Reinhardt at Radio 1, who is moving to the communications industry.
