Longtime NZZ federal court journalist leaves for Weltwoche
Federal court journalist Katharina Fontana, who has worked for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung since 1998, is moving to Weltwoche.

Publisher Roger Köppel is pleased about the "top-class transfer," as he announced on Thursday. While others are downsizing their editorial teams, Weltwoche is focusing on a targeted expansion of journalistic quality. Fontana is the most competent author when it comes to questions of the rule of law and the rights of the people. In addition, she has repeatedly expressed herself brilliantly on gender issues. Fontana, 53, studied law and joined the NZZ in 1998. From 2003, she worked in the Federal Parliament editorial office, and since 2013 she has reported from the Federal Supreme Court. (SDA)
