Karin Frei hands over "Club" editorial management and moderation
Karin Frei has been the editor-in-chief and host of «Club» since the fall of 2011. After six years, she is looking for a new challenge and is therefore stepping down from her roles on the talk show.

In the fall of 2011, Karin Frei switched from radio to television within SRF and took over as editorial director and moderator at "Club. After six years with the discussion show, Karin Frei has now decided that she would like to tackle a new challenge and is therefore leaving "Club", probably at the end of the year. Discussions are now underway as to whether Karin Frei will work for SRF in the future and in what capacity.
Karin Frei: "The Club is and remains one of the most interesting challenges at SRF. I've been able to meet many wonderful and impressive people and address socially relevant topics. After six years on the front lines, however, I'm looking forward to tackling something new again. I wish the new crew every success and would especially like to thank my team for the great collaboration."
Karin Frei studied European ethnology, social and economic history and international law and has worked for SRF since 1992. She worked as an editor and presenter at DRS 3 until 1994, then freelanced for Swiss Radio DRS and various print media. From 1996, the Lucerne native hosted the evening and nighttime program on DRS 1 before moving to the background program "Doppelpunkt" as host and editor in 2004. From 2009, she was the parallel host of the talk show "Persönlich.
According to the press release, Karin Frei's successor has not yet been appointed.
