Karin El Mais becomes new head of entertainment at Schweizer Illustrierte
Karin El Mais, currently executive producer at TeleZüri, will become the new head of entertainment at Schweizer Illustrierte. She will assume her new position on June 1, 2017, succeeding Silvan Grütter, who will move to Coopzeitung as editor-in-chief on April 1, 2017.

Karin El Mais is currently the executive producer of the TeleZüri programs "TalkTäglich" and "SommerTalk" and is also responsible for special projects, including the fundraising campaign "Hilfe vor Ort" for Syrian refugees in 2015 and the sex talk show "Apartment 6". Before that, she worked at Freddy Burger Management as head of the PR department and a member of the management team. Before that, she was editor and deputy head of department at Sonntagsblick. From 2003 to 2007, Karin El Mais worked for Swiss television - first as a secretary/dispatcher for "Tagesschau" and then as an editor for the people magazine "Glanz&Gloria". On June 1, 2017, she took over as Head of Entertainment at Schweizer Illustrierte.
