Karin Aebischer becomes new presenter at TeleBärn

Karin Aebischer from German-speaking Fribourg will become a presenter at TeleBärn on January 1, 2018. The 33-year-old complements the team around Editor-in-Chief Adrian Grob and, in addition to her function as presenter of the daily program, will also be on the road as a video journalist in the broadcast area.

Aebischer earned a bachelor's degree in German and Media & Communication Studies at the University of Fribourg and worked for more than ten years at the Freiburger Nachrichten as a journalist and graduate editor. During this time, Karin Aebischer was responsible for the events in the Sense district of the Canton of Fribourg.

"For the first time, Karin Aebischer, a German-Freiburg native, will anchor TeleBärn and help the station gain more popularity in Fribourg as well," TeleBärn editor-in-chief Adrian Grob said in a statement about the new addition.

In addition to her full-time journalistic work, the 33-year-old is also regularly involved with Rega TV and at regional events as a presenter or host.
