Jan Schwalbe becomes Editor-in-Chief of Finanz und Wirtschaft

Jan Schwalbe will take over as editor-in-chief of the business and investor newspaper *Finanz und Wirtschaft* on January 1, 2018. He succeeds Mark Dittli, who left the company at his own request at the end of October 2017.

According to the press release, Jan Schwalbe, an expert in the field of finance and economics, has been recruited as editor-in-chief. The 49-year-old journalist began his career at Finanz und Wirtschaft in 1997. He passed through various professional stations here. From 1997 to 1999, he was responsible for macroeconomic topics before moving to New York and later to London as a correspondent. In 2010, he returned to the editorial team in Zurich as a senior reporter. In 2012, he took over as head of the corporate department before leaving Finance and Economics in 2014 to become editorial director of the Bloomberg news agency in Zurich. Jan Schwalbe moves from CNN Money Switzerland to Finanz und Wirtschaft. For CNN, he was slated to be a senior producer at the channel's upcoming launch.
