Gaël Hurlimann moves from Le Temps to Ringier
Gaël Hurlimann, previously Editor-in-Chief of Letemps.ch, is leaving the French-speaking Swiss newspaper to become Head Subscription within the Global Media Unit and for the Blick Group.
As Head Subscription, Gaël Hurlimann will be responsible for developing a consistent premium content strategy for the Blick Group from the beginning of 2021. He will also oversee the topic on an international level for the entire Ringier Group. He will report to Ladina Heimgartner, Head of Global Media and CEO of the Blick Group.
Since January 2015, Hurlimann has been the online editor-in-chief of Le Temps and played a key role in the digital development of the Westschweizer Zeitung. Under his leadership Le Temps introduced a paywall and increased the number of its digital subscribers fourfold in the last five years.
