Mauron plans to further develop Saint-Paul's four titles, the publisher announced Friday. In addition to La Liberté are the La Gruyère, La Broye Hebdo and Le Messager. The editorial offices at the three locations in Fribourg, Bulle and Payerne will be retained. Furthermore, the new editor-in-chief plans to strengthen the Internet presence.

Serge Gumy, 51, will become director of the Saint-Paul media group on December 1. He succeeds Thierry Mauron, who is retiring after ten years at the helm. (SDA)
