With the 36-year-old as the new co-owner, standing ovation is once again led by a dual leadership. After Michael Dancsecs took over the agency completely in 2014, a dynamic agency partner was found in Etienne Ruppen, who will actively shape the future of standing ovation. As founder of standing ovation, Michael Dancsecs retains the majority of shares with a 51 percent stake.

Ruppen, a marketing and hospitality specialist, brings a wide range of management experience to the business partnership. After graduating from high school and Swiss hotel management school, he held various positions in Switzerland and abroad. Later, he headed the marketing and events department in the Zurich private banking division of the Basler Kantonalbank. This is how he developed his passion for live communication with all its fascinating possibilities. In 2011, he decided to join the event agency Trendix as Senior Project Manager. Three years ago, he switched to Standing Ovation. This with the aim of using his entrepreneurial as well as his organizational talent in a leading position.

"I am delighted to have Etienne Ruppen as a business partner who will share and further develop our vision. Etienne Ruppen has been instrumental in shaping our success over the past three years," said Michael Dancsecs, founder and CEO of Standing Ovation. "The two of us complement each other perfectly. As COO, Etienne Ruppen creates the conditions for us to implement our high standards of creativity and service quality. Live communication today is developing just as dynamically as the new media. We want to be at the forefront of that in the future as well."
