DQ Solutions: Luis Alvarez resigns as of mid-October
Luis Alvarez, Director of Marketing & Purchasing and a member of the Executive Board at DQ Solutions, is leaving the company in mid-October at his own request to take a sabbatical to travel.
As Director Marketing & Purchase, Luis Alvarez has played a key role in shaping marketing and procurement strategies over the past five years, according to a statement issued on Friday. The implementation of the new web landscape and the reorganization of marketing and purchasing would ensure the continued growth and success of DQ Solutions even after his departure.
Before joining Apple reseller DQ Solutions, Alvarez worked for Sunrise, among others. He will leave DQ Solutions in mid-October to take some time off to travel before embarking on other "professional adventures," according to the statement.
CEO Felix Kündig regrets the departure of Luis Alvarez, but understands and accepts the decision and emphasizes: "His professional demeanor and his sensitivity to the needs of our customers have made him a valued and respected business partner."
