"The decision was very difficult for me"
Maike Juchler has decided to leave AZ Fachverlage and focus on project-based work in the future.
After five months with AZ Medien, Maike Juchler has decided to leave AZ Fachverlage for private reasons as of March 31. She succeeded Ratna Irzan as Head of Magazines on September 1, 2016. In this role, she reports to Managing Director Media Switzerland and member of the Executive Board Roland Kühne, who will take over as Head of Magazines on an ad interim basis from March.
"The decision was very difficult for me, as I quickly felt at home at AZ Fachverlagen and was able to contribute in many ways together with my colleagues - a great experience!" Maike Juchler is quoted as saying in the AZ release.
"I very much regret this decision by Maike Juchler, although I can very well understand her personal motives. We would like to express our sincere thanks for her commitment and wish her all the best for her future, both professionally and privately," says Roland Kühne.
The search for a successor will be initiated immediately and the position will be filled as soon as possible.
