Daniela Püntener takes over as head of Radio SRF 4 News

Daniela Püntener will take over as head of Radio SRF 4 News effective May 1, 2022. She succeeds Helen Hürlimann, who is retiring early.

Daniela Püntener has been working at SRF for nine years, since May 2019 as producer and since April 2020 additionally as team leader at Radio SRF 4 News. She moderates and produces in the live program and is part of the crew of the podcast "SRF News Plus". In the Digital Center team, Daniela Püntener is significantly involved in the journalistic further development of the digital audio formats of the Chief Audio Editor. She will now take over as Head of Radio SRF 4 News on May 1, 2022, succeeding Helen Hürlimann, who is taking early retirement. (Werbewoche.ch reported).

From 2017 to 2019, Daniela Püntener worked as an editor and presenter in the newsroom of Radio SRF 4 News and as a producer at Radio SRF 3. Before that, she was editor and deputy editor-in-chief at Radio 32. The primary school teacher holds a Master of Arts in New Media Journalism with a focus on editorial management and the organization of networked newsrooms.
