CNN Money Switzerland engages Jan Schwalbe and Andreas Hohn

CNN Money Switzerland has recruited two experienced Swiss financial and business journalists: Jan Schwalbe and Andreas Hohn.

Jan Schwalbe is since September 1 as Senior Producer at CNN Money Switzerland. In this role, he plays a key role in the production of the live program, which airs weekdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Jan Schwalbe has been covering financial and economic topics for more than 20 years and has conducted countless interviews with international business leaders, economists and strategists. His articles have been published in Businessweek, at Bloomberg News and in The Daily Telegraph published. Before joining CNN Money Switzerland, Jan Schwalbe was the Zurich bureau chief of Bloomberg News. He started his journalistic career at the newspaper Finance and economyfor which he worked for over ten years as a foreign correspondent in New York and London. After his return from abroad, he was head of the corporate department of the Finance and economy. Jan Schwalbe was also a board member of the Foreign Press Association in New York and is currently a member of the Zurich Business Journalists Club. Jan Schwalbe studied law at the University of Zurich.

Andreas Hohn has been available since October 1 as Video journalist at CNN Money Switzerland. In this role, he will create video content on business and financial topics, conduct interviews, and produce video sequences for the live program, which airs weekdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For the past three years, Andreas Hohn worked for the Swiss news agency AWP Finanznachrichten in Zurich, where he interviewed CEOs and CFOs of leading listed companies in Switzerland as well as analysts, chief economists and other business experts, and produced video features on technology and business topics. Previously, Andreas Hohn worked for three years as a print and online journalist as well as video journalist at Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland, producing features for the fortnightly investor magazine Stocks, later for the financial portals Finanzen.ch and Handelszeitung.ch. He studied journalism, French and Spanish literature in Hamburg, Bordeaux and Madrid.
