Editor-in-chief of Arcinfo resigns

The Neuchâtel daily Arcinfo is looking for a new editor-in-chief. The current incumbent, Eric Lecluyse, will be leaving his post at the end of the year.

Lecluyse, who worked as a journalist, trainer and entrepreneur in France, joined the Neuchâtel daily more than seven years ago as co-editor-in-chief, where he was responsible for digital and regional content in particular. Following the death of Stéphane Devaux, the other co-editor-in-chief, Lecluyse became sole editor-in-chief in 2020.

Since taking office, Lecluyse has played an "important role in the editorial development and digital transition of Arcinfo played a key role in the publication," Arcinfo said in a statement on Wednesday. "Together with the editorial team, he has always made sure to offer high-quality content in order to retain readers and reach new target groups," explained the general director of ArcinfoJacques Matthey.

The search for a new editor-in-chief has already begun in order to find the person best suited to continue the title's mission in the service of its subscribers. (SDA)
