Barbara Aeschlimann new president at Perikom
On Wednesday, the Perikom Association’s general meeting elected Barbara Aeschlimann as its new president. She succeeds Cyril Meier, who has led the association since 2019.
The General Assembly of Perikom, the professional association for HR management and internal communication, unanimously elected Barbara Aeschlimann as the new President. She replaces Cyril Meier, who is leaving the Board. To thank Meier for his great services to Perikom, he was made an honorary member by the Board. Thore Lingel from Farner Consulting was newly elected to the Board.
Barbara Aeschlimann has been a board member of the Zurich Society for Human Resource Management since 2014 and Managing Director since 2018. The new President has been on the Perikom Board for three years. She has held HR management positions in various industries for more than 25 years, including more than 10 years as Head of HR at EY Switzerland. Barbara Aeschlimann holds a doctorate in linguistics.
"Good, target-oriented HR work thrives on equally good communication that specifically addresses the target audience," says Aeschlimann about her new role. "With this in mind, I appreciate the fact that Perikom is scrutinizing this central interface within the company and thus sharpening the mutual understanding between HR and internal communication."
