Two new CEOs for Easyfairs

Easyfairs Group has appointed Eric Everard as Chairman of the Board of Easyfairs with immediate effect. Anne Lafère and Matt Benyon will serve as Group CEOs. Together, the duo will be responsible for strategy, legal and financial issues, and will be supported by the regional managers and the management team at Easyfairs' headquarters in Brussels. The aim is to establish at least 15 new events per year with Easyfairs, integrate acquisitions, attract new talent and retain employees, and implement Easyfairs' ESG strategy and measures on the way to the net zero target.

Long-time employees of Easyfairs

The responsibilities of the two new CEOs will be split by competencies: Benyon's focus will be on revenue, growth drivers and M&A, while Lafère will focus on people, technology and marketing, ESG and the customer experience, it said.

Anne Lafère joined Artexis (later Easyfairs) in 1998, where she was Managing Director of Artexis Exhibitions Belgium, before becoming Group COO of Easyfairs in 2014. Matt Benyon joined Easyfairs in 2009 and was initially CEO for the UK division before being appointed CEO of the UK and Global (UKG) division, extending his responsibilities to Algeria, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain in addition to the UK.
