Xaver Award 2025 for the first time in the Festhalle Bern
On September 9, the Swiss LiveCom Association Expo Event will present the Xaver Award at the new Festhalle Bern. By holding the ceremony for the most prestigious award in the Swiss live communications industry in Bern, the association is highlighting the industry’s national character.

The Xaver Award, the most important award in the Swiss live communication industry, will take place in the newly opened Festhalle Bern for the first time in 2025. The relocation of the award evening from Zurich to Bern is a clear sign of the national character of the industry.
Under the motto "WANTED - LiveCom Excellence", the Festhalle Bern will be transformed into a cowboy chic event on September 9 - including horses, games and a Wild West atmosphere. The XAVER once again underlines its role as a creative showcase for live communication.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Marco Solari. The man from Ticino will be honored for his extraordinary life's work and his services to the Swiss cultural and event landscape.

The festive evening will be hosted by Ticino presenter Christa Rigozzi. She will be joined by City Mayor Marieke Kruit and Martin Nydegger, CEO of Switzerland Tourism, who will give the laudatory speech for Marco Solari, lending the event additional radiance.
A total of 45 projects were submitted, which will be honored in eight categories - from corporate events and expo projects to innovative digital formats. The "Best Expo Stand" category is included for the first time. In addition, the Public XAVER will be determined by online voting, which will run until September 8, 2025.
Christian Künzli, President of the Swiss LiveCom Association Expo Event, emphasizes: "Xaver is the most important showcase for our industry. The fact that we will be guests in the new Festhalle Bern for the first time in 2025 is a strong signal for us: we want to celebrate the excellence of live communication where there is room for new things."
