Veranstalter-Allianz supports the current information campaign of the BAG
The broad-based national alliance of event organizers' associations supports the FOPH's new information campaign "Don't miss out: get vaccinated". The Covid-19 vaccination is still the most important measure to reduce the consequences of the pandemic.
The coronavirus is very contagious. Even if the majority of infected people only develop mild symptoms or no symptoms at all, some people with the disease develop severe symptoms, especially those who are particularly at risk. Vaccination reduces the risk of contracting Covid-19 and passing on the virus. At present, vaccination - together with hygiene and behavioural rules - is the best strategy for containing the virus in order to reduce the number of severe cases and deaths in Switzerland, the organizers write in a joint statement.
The Alliance also encourages all those who have not yet been vaccinated to do so before the fall. This would counteract a new wave of the pandemic and help to bring back the freedoms of everyday life and maintain the freedoms we have regained.
More relaxed at events
In addition, the Alliance of Event Organizers' Associations welcomes the fact that the regained normality and the missed social activities with family and friends, such as attending a concert, a theater, a sporting event or a trade fair, can continue to be practiced in the future, if possible with negligible or even better, no restrictions. Of course, this must always be done with the best possible protection of the health of everyone involved.
