Swiss Volley enters into partnership with Beatus and Ermitage

Swiss Volley has launched a new partnership with two Swiss wellness hotels. The wellness and spa hotel Ermitage in Gstaad-Schönried will serve as the official "Swiss Volley House" during the Beach Pro Tour tournament in Gstaad from 2026. The entire Swiss Volley delegation - including players and staff - will be housed under one roof in the Swiss House.

At the same time, the wellness and spa hotel Beatus in Merligen, which belongs to the same family as the Ermitage, is the official sponsor of the Swiss Volley Beach Awards and the Swiss Volley Indoor Awards. The beach volleyball awards are presented at the Beatus, where the "Most Valuable Player" and the "Most Improved Player" are honored each year. The volleyball awards in the categories "Most Valuable Player", "Best Swiss Player" and "Youngster of the Year" are presented directly on the court in front of an audience. The Luvita Hotel and Spa, which manages the two hotels Beatus and Ermitage, is the official award sponsor.

The partnership was signed for three years.

Encounter and connection

Philippe Saxer, CEO of Swiss Volley, is delighted with the new partnership: "With the Hotel Beatus in Merligen and the Hotel Ermitage in Schönried, which stand for quality, Swiss hospitality and well-being, we are connecting two hotels with the world of volleyball. We are particularly looking forward to creating a Swiss Volley House together during the beach volleyball week in Gstaad - a place of encounters, enthusiasm and solidarity."

Sebastian Moser, General Director of both hotels, explains: "We are delighted about the partnership with Swiss Volley. The joint commitment combines top sporting performance with the relaxation and hospitality that our hotels stand for. It is an honor for us to welcome the athletes and the entire Swiss Volley family to our "Swiss Volley House" in Schönried or to the award ceremonies at the Beatus on Lake Thun."
