Swiss Production Forum takes place for the second time
From November 8 to 10, the SPF will be held for the second time in Zurich, where the SMM Award, Innovation Prize of the Swiss Manufacturing Industry, will also be presented.
Nearly 60 manufacturers and solution providers from the Swiss manufacturing industry will present their manufacturing solutions to trade visitors at the Swiss Production Forum (SPF) from November 8 to 10, 2022, in Hall 550 in Zurich Oerlikon on more than 1000 m2. Many are tailored to the needs of Switzerland as a manufacturing center. "Through the last two years, we have realized what it means to be able to meet physically. Projects are created through people-to-people relationships, but also through skills that can be better communicated physically. Digital events are hyped, but they only work to a limited extent. Especially when it comes to new contacts and networking. For this, physical life events are unbeatable," said Abetare Yaves, marketing and sales manager. The organizer is Vogel Communications Group.
New series of lectures at the Swiss Production Forum
A new feature this year will be an integrated series of lectures during the SPF. Thematically, the focus will be on practice-oriented lectures on the range of topics of future-proof production technology. Exhibitors and external solution providers will present their technologies to interested visitors. In addition, the SMM Award, Innovation Prize of the Swiss Manufacturing Industry, will be presented for the second time. The award is given for innovations in the field of manufacturing technology. The evaluation criteria are: Novelty and originality of the idea, quality of practical implementation and market potential.
