Social Media Summit takes place in Engelberg in November
On November 6 and 7, the Social Media Summit will take place in Engelberg for the seventh time. Representatives from platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, and others will be flying in for this social media marketing conference to present the latest features and best practices to over 650 attendees.
At this year's Social Media Summit, over 50 speakers will share their knowledge in presentations, Q&As, panels and interactive masterclasses. Last year, the specialist audience included companies such as Rivella, Zweifel, Switzerland Tourism, Hoffmann-La Roche, Mobiliar, Unicef, ABB, cantonal banks, Samsung and Swisscom. However, people from public authorities and politics also use the conference to further their education each year.
In order to do justice to the special features of the Swiss social media market, the event will once again focus on local figures and best practices. The Aarau Cantonal Police will take stock after one and a half years of TikTok, and Betty Bossi will show how employees can become social media creators. Wemf also shares the latest figures from its Social Media Study Switzerland. As the legal framework in Switzerland differs from our neighboring countries, the Legal Q&A with lawyer Thierry Burnens will also take place again.
Increasing relevance
"We have been observing a steady increase in the proportion of C-level guests for around two years. This shows that social media is increasingly becoming a strategic task in a company," explains Tanja Herrmann, founder and organizer of the Social Media Summit. In addition, the industry is dominated by women - not only on stage, but also in the audience.
The high density of experts from Switzerland and abroad brought SRF to Engelberg last year. As part of the recently published SRF Dok, the most important voices were captured in one place.
In order to further promote exchange within the industry, the two-day program will be rounded off with various networking events. These include a joint lunch at the Kempinski Palace, the "Farewell Beer" with live music and the "Legendary Gin Night" in the world's largest gin bar.
Tickets have been available since Monday at the Website to buy. Interested parties can benefit from a reduced early bird price until the end of May.
