Artificial realities at the 4th edition of DA Z - Digital Art Zurich

From October 19 to 29, DA Z – Digital Art Zurich will open its doors and focus on artificial realities, their possibilities, promises, and dangers.

Nationally and internationally renowned artists will present interactive installations, VR experiences, audiovisual performances as well as workshops and talks: At six locations along streetcar line 4 in Zurich, visitors can immerse themselves in different themes, worlds and experiences - Wasserkirche, Kunsthaus (Special Event), Museum für Gestaltung (Ausstellungsstrasse), Schule für Gestaltung, Löwenbräu Silo and ZHdK Immersive Arts Space.

At the opening vernissage, the Japanese Nao Tokui and Ryosuke Nakajima present sounds and visuals in interaction with artificial intelligence. The Turkish musician Havantepe performs with the Swiss visual collective Packungsbeilage. And Zurich-based experimental musician Dadaglobal will transform his playful sounds into an immersive experience.

In order to promote the dialog between digital culture, business, science and society and to network with each other, the Professional Days will now take place.
